Our Story
LMS School for English (ႁူင်းႁဵၼ်းလူင်မူႉ) was founded by Venerable Mendaka with a single conviction: that the young people of Shan State deserve every door the world has to offer. What began as a small English class in Lone Mu Village, Tangyan, has grown into a thriving non-profit institution serving thousands of students and families.
Our motto — Learn English, Lead the Future — reflects a dual commitment: to global opportunity through language, and to local responsibility through culture and community.
Guided by Venerable Mendaka
Venerable Mendaka founded LMS School for English as an act of service to the young people of Tangyan and Shan State. His work reflects the belief that education should open real opportunities while strengthening kindness, discipline, and responsibility to the community.
Through his leadership, LMS has become more than a classroom. It is a place where students are encouraged to learn English, build practical skills, support one another, and grow into people who can serve their families, villages, and society with confidence.
